Bathrooms Renovated

All bathrooms have been renovated! Half-Bath, Hall, Kitty Hawk Bedroom, and Southern Shores Bedroom bathrooms were completed in 2024. The Corolla bathroom was renovated in 2023 and the Game Room bathroom was built in 2022.

Pool Deck Renovated

Bathrooms Renovated

New 6' fence and gates with expanded deck, pergola, and outdoor showers (with new rinse sink and foot rinse) at start of 2024 season. Added an outdoor ceiling fan to pergola for 2025 season.

Kitchen Updated

Kitchen cabinets and island were painted in 2023. Replaced the backsplash in early 2024. Replaced second refrigerator (with ice maker) and relocated previous to Game Room for the 2025 season.

Other Updates

Carport lattice replaced in 2024. New expanded stone parking pad and beach access path for the 2025 season.

Beach-Topia has 7 Bedrooms, 5 full and 2 half Bathrooms, organized in a Reverse Floor Plan.

The house is situated East/West with great ocean, sunrise, and sunset views, and walking distance to the beach and sound.

Top (3rd) floor has a Great Room including Kitchen/Dining/Living space, Master Suite with private Bathroom, Half Bathroom, 3-Season Room, and Top Deck.

The middle (2nd) floor has 2 King Bedrooms with private Bathrooms; Bunk Room (Duo Bunk [twin over double], Twin Trundle, and set of Twin Bunks); a King Bedroom; a set of Twins Bedroom; and, a shared Hall Bathroom.

The ground (1st) floor has a King Bedroom with private Bathroom, Game Room with door to pool deck and a half-bathroom, Laundry Room with full-size clothes washer/dryer, a Cleaning Closet (with an iron, ironing board, cleaning equipment, vacuum, and roll-out laundry rack), and a dry entry keyless door to breezeway and carport.

Bathrooms have hair dryers, make-up mirrors, lit light switches, toilet brush/plunger, and a trash can.

One of the best communities in the OBX (Outer Banks)!

Away from the hustle and bustle, Corolla is relaxed, has great quieter and larger beaches, access to the 4x4 area to see the wild horses, easy walk to nature trails and parks, and many local attractions for all ages.

House amenities include Fenced Pool, Pergola, Tiki Bar, Hot Tub, 2 Outdoor Showers and Rinse Sink, Wi-Fi, HVAC, Charcoal Grill, Three Refrigerators (four ice makers), Dishwasher, Irons/Ironing Board, Linens (by Twiddy), 3-Season Room, Loaner Beach Chairs and Beach Gear, and Two Deck Levels!

The community offers 2 additional pools, 7 beach access paths, several sports courts (including a volleyball court across the street from the house), playground, beach chair/umbrella rentals, Sharky's Snack Bar, and a fitness center with tennis & pickleball courts (some amenities are seasonal and for a nominal fee).

NOTE: Adjacent parking requires a parking permit; no overnight parking allowed. Please only park at Beach-Topia and only park in carport, driveway, or stone parking pad.

If you arrive before check-in time, please be patient so our cleaners and Twiddy house safety inspector can make sure the house is ready for you. You may want to go to the nearby Corolla public beach, grocery shopping, or grab a bite to eat.

Availability & Rates

We expanded the 2025 season to include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. See the listing on available dates and rates; 2026 is expected to be released in the summer.

Repeat Guest Discount*: If you book and make a deposit for Beach-Topia by December 31st of the current year you rent Beach-Topia with Twiddy, you'll receive a discount for next year.

Military Discount*: For active duty and veterans; ask Twiddy for details.

*Only one discount may be used and some restrictions apply.

Payment Plan Option: A special payment plan is available for our guests based on need. The payment plan is 25% due within 48 hours of booking, 25% no later than 30 days from booking, and 50% due 30 days prior to arrival. Ask Twiddy for details.

The Kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, silverware, cookware, serving dishes, and much more.

Appliances include 2 Refrigerators (with 3 ice makers), Oven/Range, Microwave, Dishwasher, and Garbage Disposal. Note, a third refrigerator with ice maker is located in the Game Room on the Ground Floor.

Other appliances included beaters, blender, coffee grinder, coffee makers (drip and pods), electric kettle, grill/griddle, popcorn maker, toaster, air fryer, slow cooker, food processor, and ricer.

An island that seats up to 6.

Light switches labeled; some with dimmers. And USB receptacles throughout.

An abundance of cooking sheets, bakeware, roasting and broiler pans, glassware, mixing bowls, and utensils. Everything you need for a family feast!

Beach Gear: Beach Towels, Beach Blankets, Coolers, Boogie Boards, Beach Umbrellas, etc.
- Some Beach Gear is provided, but we cannot guarantee their availability or condition
Charcoal & Lighter Fluid (for the outdoor grill)
Clothes Line (several cleats are installed throughout for hanging)
Gear for Babies/Children (e.g., high chair, booster seats, play pens, etc.)

We recommend you bring or rent your own beach gear and any special needs.

The fireplace is out of service.

Trash and Recycling pick-up is on Wednesday, and during Peak season (May 1 -Sept 30) is also on Saturday. Trash collection is mechanical, so all trash must be inside the provided bins, the lids must be able to close shut, rolled onto the curb by 8am, and spaced apart. Please roll back trash bins after pick-up. The association offers a roll back service during the peak season (if cans are empty).

Beach-Topia uses a Kaba Keyless Entry (no house keys needed).

Some house and community amenities have seasonal availability.

We hope you enjoy this tranquil beach house. We live in Washington, DC, and have fallen in love with Corolla. We miss our peaceful OBX retreat, but it makes us happy to know others are enjoying it and keeping it company.

We acquired Beach-Topia in March 2021 and have renovated practically every inch!
